Hi! My name is Bridgette, and I am the proud owner and chef of BKatered. My culinary journey began at a young age, inspired by the vibrant chaos of growing up with three sisters and three brothers. It was in this bustling household that my love for cooking and creating delicious dishes took root. To formally pursue my passion, I studied Culinary Arts at my local vocational/technical high school in Massachusetts. There, I learned the foundations of the culinary world and developed my skills in the kitchen. Eager for more knowledge and experience, I continued my culinary education at the prestigious Lincoln Culinary Institute in Connecticut. With a solid culinary background, I embarked on my professional career at Due Mari, an esteemed Italian restaurant in New Jersey. Working at the cold station and plating mouthwatering desserts taught me the importance of precision and attention to detail. The team recognized my talent and dedication, leading to a paid internship opportunity.

Seeking to diversify my culinary expertise, I worked as a line cook at Hyatt Regency and Virgin Atlantic Airlines, gaining valuable experience in different culinary environments. I also showcased my skills as an action station chef at Rutgers University, catering to the unique nutritional needs of athletes. Currently, I am privileged to serve as a private chef at the University of Maryland, where I create memorable dining experiences for my clients. Delivering culinary excellence is not just a job for me; it's my passion. I pour my heart into every dish, ensuring that each one is a delightful fusion of flavors and textures.
